Moulded Panel

A moulded panel is pre formed in a mould, which produces a flat even surface. This type of panel is very low maintenance.

Flocked Panel

A flocked panel is filled with traditional flocking. Flocking can be added or taken away by a professional saddler to alter fit. A flocked panel should be checked regularly to ensure correct fit is maintained.

Thoroughbred Panel

A thoroughbred panel is wider than a conventional panel and therefore has a larger weight bearing surface behind the wither. This type of panel is designed for a horse with a prominent wither or lack of muscle tone.

Balance Strap Tab

A nylon web tab is fitted towards the rear of the tree: this enables the saddler to stitch on a leather girth strap if required. This balance strap will then inhibit the saddle from moving on the horse’s back.

Shallow Gusset

A shallow gusset helps prevent that ‘perched on top’ look, as the rider will sit closer to the horse.

Extra Deep Gusset

An extra deep gusset is used to re-balance the seat ensuring that the rider sits in balance and is commonly used to avoid that rolling downhill look.

Extended Girth Webs

An accessible length of nylon webbing is left to allow easy repair or replacement of girth straps.

Point Strap Tab

A nylon web tab is fitted to the point of the tree; this enables a saddler to stitch on a leather girth strap if required. This point strap will then inhibit the saddle slipping onto the horses shoulder area.

Standard Knee Roll

A standard knee roll offers the rider security in the saddle and assistance with their leg position up against the block making the rider more secure.

Standard Jumping Knee Blocks

A standard jumping knee block supports the knee when the rider has taken up jumping position. The top part of the knee will rest up against the block making the rider more secure.

Pencil Knee Roll

A pencil knee roll lends support to the rider, but allows more freedom through the leg than a standard knee roll.

Velcro Adjustable Jumping Knee Blocks

Secured with Velcro these large jumping blocks are easily adjusted to accommodate rider leg length and preferred position. A larger block offers maximum security in the saddle.
